This is Seth, he is American Bulldog at the Human Society. He is almost a year old, and has been at GBHS just over a month. He can’t wait for a family to spend forever with!
Greater Birmingham Humane Society
A man named Dr. John Herbert Phillips came to Birmingham in 1883, to direct the city’s schools system. He realized that a well-rounded child needed to be taught about compassion and humane values. All that to say Dr. Phillips founded the Greater Birmingham Humane Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals and children. He also founded the city’s first high school and Birmingham’s public library.
Today the GBHS works hard to ensure that animals and children stay safe, through education, service and advocating the animals.
This is Matilda. She is a bundle of fun and playful energy and would be a perfect addition for an active family.
Meet Shia! She is a Terrier/American Pit Bull. She is 1 year old and can’t wait to find her forever home!
